4 Layer Date Bars

Ingredients:

Date Paste Layer

Peanut Butter Layer

  • 1 cup peanut butter 

  • 1/3 cup melted coconut butter

  • 1 tsp honey

Coconut Layer

  • 1/2 cup grated coconut  

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk

  • 1 tbsp honey

Chocolate Layer

  •  200 grams melted chocolate

Directions:

Date Paste Layer

  1. Soften your date paste by microwaving it in short 30-second increments or by using a double boiler. 

  2. Mix all the ingredients for the date paste layer until it reaches a relatively dry, pasty texture.

  3. Tamp it down in a parchment-lined bread pan until flat and evenly distributed.

Peanut Butter Layer

  1. Mix all the ingredients together until well-combined.

  2. Pour mixture into parchment-lined bread pan and spread evenly.

Coconut Layer

  1. Mix all the ingredients together until well-combined.

  2. Pour mixture into bread pan and spread evenly.

  3. Stick the bread pan into the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour or until solid.

Chocolate Layer

  1. Melt chocolate in a double boiler. 

  2. Pour into bread pan and freeze for 30 minutes to an hour.
