4 Layer Date Bars
Ingredients:
Date Paste Layer
1 cup almond flour
1 tbsp cocoa powder
Peanut Butter Layer
1 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup melted coconut butter
1 tsp honey
Coconut Layer
1/2 cup grated coconut
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 tbsp honey
Chocolate Layer
200 grams melted chocolate
Directions:
Date Paste Layer
Soften your date paste by microwaving it in short 30-second increments or by using a double boiler.
Mix all the ingredients for the date paste layer until it reaches a relatively dry, pasty texture.
Tamp it down in a parchment-lined bread pan until flat and evenly distributed.
Peanut Butter Layer
Mix all the ingredients together until well-combined.
Pour mixture into parchment-lined bread pan and spread evenly.
Coconut Layer
Mix all the ingredients together until well-combined.
Pour mixture into bread pan and spread evenly.
Stick the bread pan into the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour or until solid.
Chocolate Layer
Melt chocolate in a double boiler.
Pour into bread pan and freeze for 30 minutes to an hour.
